Pre-ordering Crimson Desert will grant players exclusive rewards in Black Desert, including the Aduanit mount, the unique Ash Crow harness, the Gold Star tier 4 pet, and a Gold Star statue that can be displayed in the mansion.
Pearl Abyss also introduced Seraph, a new class in Black Desert . Seraph wields a massive greatsword and possesses both offensive and defensive capabilities. She masterfully manipulates light and shadow in combat, giving her a distinct advantage. Following a period of lab testing, Seraph will launch on PC servers on December 18th and on console platforms on January 8th.
The developers detailed changes to Monster Hunting Zones , introducing Monster Hunting Zones designed for high-level players. Several Monster Hunting Zones will be transformed into new zones for high-level adventurers, featuring new mechanics and exclusive loot. Group monster zones are also being expanded, including high-level Monster Hunting Zones for three players in the Idania region and updated Gyfin Rhasia Temple and Mirumog Ruins. To support less experienced adventurers, the developers also announced enhanced leveling rewards, an improved progression system, and expanded opportunities to earn Crown Stones through Dark Rift and Atoraxion content.
Black Desert will also undergo a structural overhaul of its PvP systems, specifically Node Wars, Territory Conquest, Arena of Blood, Solar Arena, and the War of Roses. Node Wars will feature new territories, Ulu Kita and Idania, to add more variety to battles, along with revised rules of engagement, updated victory conditions, and changes to Build and Conquest modes. The reward structure for various PvP activities will be significantly improved, allowing adventurers to earn more valuable battle items and account-wide upgrade materials. Further improvements to matchmaking, MMR evaluation, battlefield layout, and siege weapon placement will enhance the overall competitive experience.
