How to create your own clothes in Heartopia

There are many activities in the life simulator Heartopia , but one of them allows you to truly express your individuality: creating your own unique clothing.

As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock the ability to sew your own outfits rather than just wear pre-made ones. However, this feature isn’t immediately available. In this guide, we’ll explain how to unlock clothing customization and start creating your own designs in Heartopia .

This feature will unlock once your character reaches DG level 14. After that, talk to Ka Ching and purchase a drawing board from her shop for 2,000 gold . This will launch a short drawing tutorial, but we’ll cover the basics below.

How to create clothing designs

Once you’ve got your board, place it anywhere in the city. Then choose a canvas size and get creative. If you’re specifically designing clothing, you’ll need to choose a specific item of clothing to design, such as a sweatshirt or baseball cap.

You can draw everything from scratch or use ready-made elements, such as candies or trees. To find them, select the last option on the left toolbar .

To draw freely, simply select the pencil color and thickness. If you make a mistake, tap the left arrow at the top of the screen to undo the action.

Once you’ve finished the front, move on to the back and other elements of the garment. When the design is complete, click the camera icon next to the arrows to save your work.

Then, go to any workbench. You’ll see an icon with a shirt and scissors . Select it, choose the garment you’re designing, and select the saved design from the list. All that’s left to do is sew the item, paying with Tailoring Tickets . If you don’t have enough, you can use Moonlight Crystals .
