How to unlock all endings in Dispatch

Dispatch is an episodic animated adventure whose core mechanics revolve around constant choice. It’s only natural that where players make decisions, there will be consequences, which in turn can lead to one outcome or another.

The ending you receive depends directly on your previous actions. Essentially, the game has two main endings: “Good Mentor” and “Bad Mentor.” In addition, there are side branches involving romances and a climax involving Robert Robertson and his main adversary, Polog.

Bad Ending

To achieve this ending, you essentially need to “neglect” the Invisible One and your relationship with the girl. Make her disillusioned with the very idea of being a positive hero, which ultimately leads to her killing Polog without question or hesitation in the final episode of Dispatch , “Unity.” Achieving this outcome is significantly easier than the opposite. You need to demonstrate distrust in her work , express disappointment when she makes mistakes, and try not to take her side during conflicts.

Important : You must disable the interactive movie (which disables QTEs ) and infinite hacks in the system menu to be able to fail QTEs and hacks. Infinite hacks will otherwise give you an unlimited number of attempts, allowing you to continue and repeat the minigame until you win.

The main decisions that lead to a bad ending:

  1. Don’t help Nevidiva at the donut shop (fail all hacks) in Episode 2, “The First Day.”
  2. Saying to Nevidiva: “You chose this life” in the second episode “The First Day”.
  3. Admit that you snitched on her to Chase (“I reported you to Chase”) in Episode 2, “First Day.”
  4. Tell her, “I’m the real hero here” in Episode 2, “The First Day.”
  5. Telling Blondie Blazer that Nevidiva hit you (“Nevidiva hit me”) in Episode 2, “The First Day”.
  6. Tell Nevidiva to “Take it out on him” before she goes on the jewelry robbery call in Episode 3, “Routine.”
  7. Don’t help Nevidiva in the jewelry store (fail all hacks) in the third episode “Routine”.
  8. Saying “No, I don’t think so” to Blondie Blazer in Episode 3, “Running Time.”
  9. Failed the QTE sequences during the flashback with the fight in the villains’ bar in Episode 5, “Team Spirit”.
  10. Don’t tell the team you’re a Mechaman in Episode 5, “Team Spirit.”
  11. At the party in Moving Parts, choose “Are you sure this will work?” in Episode 6, “Chain Links.”
  12. Choose “You’re Out of Your league” at the same party in Episode 6, “Chain Links”.
  13. Choose “Everyone calm down” during the argument at the party in Episode 6, “Chain Links.”
  14. Don’t help Nevidiva find the Astral Pulser (fail all hacks) in Episode 6, “Chain Links.”
  15. Choose to exclude Nevidiva from the team in Episode 7, “Retrospective.”
  16. In the locker room, tell her: “This is the end” (if there is no romantic line) in the seventh episode “Hindsight” or “It was they who decided, not me” (if there is a romantic line).
  17. After Nevidiva admits that she ruined Mekhamen’s costume, say: “This is the end.”
  18. Mention Nevidiva in the news in the seventh episode “Retrospective”.
  19. Saying “I don’t trust you” in Episode 8, “Unity.”
  20. Don’t untie Nevidiva in Episode 8, “Unity.”

The Good Ending

This is the opposite of the previous ending. This ending is based on trusting Nevidiva and inspiring her to become a hero—in this case, she won’t kill Polog without a second thought at the end of Dispatch’s eighth episode. You’ll have to constantly demonstrate your faith in her (the romance is completely optional) and also set a heroic example for the entire I-team. This is much more difficult to achieve, as many factors come into play.

Advice for players with slow reflexes: turn on interactive cinematics to eliminate QTEs, as well as endless hacks. The former allows you to automatically complete all QTEs, while the latter allows you to repeat the hack until you win. This doesn’t reduce your mentor score; in fact, it counts as a successful completion.

Key picks for this finale:

  1. Help Nevidiva at the Donut Shop (complete all hacks successfully) in Episode 2, “The First Day.”
  2. Don’t tell Nevidiva: “You chose this life” in the second episode “The First Day”.
  3. Don’t say you ratted her out to Chase (“I reported you to Chase”) in Episode 2, “First Day.”
  4. Don’t tell her, “I’m the real hero here” in Episode 2, “The First Day.”
  5. Don’t tell Blondie Blazer that Nevidiva hit you (“Nevidiva hit me”) in the second episode, “The First Day.”
  6. Telling Nevidiva “Everything can change” before she goes on a jewelry robbery call in Episode 3, “Routine.”
  7. Help Nevidiva in the jewelry store (successfully complete all hacks) in the third episode “Routine”.
  8. Saying “I hope” to Blondie Blazer in Episode 3, “Running Time.”
  9. Successfully complete the QTE sequences during the Villains’ Bar Fight flashback in Episode 5, Team Spirit.
  10. Tell the team you are a Mechaman in Episode 5, “Team Spirit.”
  11. At the party in Moving Parts, choose “Thanks, people” in Episode 6, “Chain Links.”
  12. Choose “Let’s go out today” at the same party in Episode 6, “Chain Links”.
  13. Choose “Chill, Chase!” during the argument at the party in Episode 6, “Chain Links.”
  14. Help Nevidiva find the Astral Pulser (successfully complete all hacks) in Episode 6 of “Chain Links”.
  15. Choose Nevidiva’s defense from the team in Episode 7 “Retrospective”.
  16. If you suddenly rule it out, which is not recommended, choose “I’m worried about you” (if there is no romantic line) or “I don’t want this” (if there is a romantic line).
  17. Don’t tell her, “It’s over,” in the locker room. Instead, the best option in a romantic relationship is, “I forgive you.” But this has nothing to do with mentoring.
  18. Mention Trekstar in the news in Episode 7 “Retrospective” instead of Nevidiva.
  19. Don’t say “I don’t trust you” in Episode 8, “Unity.”
  20. Untie Nevidiva in Episode 8, Unity.
  21. Spare Polog (confirming the “heroes don’t kill” stance from Episode 5 of the game).

Bonus: Complete as many Dispatch challenges with Invisible as possible without failing and unlock her second ability during training with Blondie Blazer. This also affects your mentor points.

Romantic endings

In addition to endings along Nevidiva’s mentor’s path, there are romance-related endings—with Nevidiva or Blondie Blazer. Separate guides will highlight all relationship-boosting options, but even when choosing “romantic” dialogue options, there are important events that determine whether the romantic ending is achieved.

Affair with Blondie Blazer

  1. Kiss her in the first episode, “The Passage.”
  2. Saying you enjoy helping people in the first episode of “The Transition.”
  3. Saying that you’re following her lead, or that the kiss wasn’t a mistake, in Episode 2, “First Day.”
  4. Invite her to dinner in the second episode, “First Day.”
  5. Not agreeing to go to dinner with her and Fenomacho, which she clearly hints at at the end of the second episode, “The First Day.”
  6. Support her decision to eliminate someone in the third episode, “Running Time.”
  7. Have dinner with her and kiss her in the fourth episode “Retrospective”.
  8. Take her side in the argument at the party in Episode 6, “Chain Links”.

Signs of a successful ending:

  • You dance with her at the party in Episode 6, “Chain Links.”
  • Polog mentions her in a monologue.
  • At the end of Unity, you kiss in a car.

An affair with Nevidiva

  1. Don’t tell her they ratted her out to Chase in the second episode, “First Day.”
  2. Don’t tell Blondie Blazer she hit you.
  3. Go to the cinema with her in the fourth episode “Reform”.
  4. Tell the bar you enjoyed the movie during Episode 5 of “Team Spirit.”
  5. In Episode 6, “Chain Links,” tell Chase that you’re getting used to her, or ask if she likes you.
  6. Thank Nevidiva and support her plan at the party during Episode 6, “Chain Links.”
  7. Protect her, not kick her off the team in Episode 7, “Hindsight.”
  8. Say you forgive her and kiss her back in Episode 7, “Retrospective.”
  9. Untie it in the eighth and final episode, “Unity.”

To see the romantic ending, you must also get the good ending on the mentor’s path, otherwise you will get the “friends” ending.

The finale appears if:

  • You dance with her at the party in episode 6, “Chain Links.”
  • The canopy mentions feelings in the monologue.
  • In the finale of Unity, you kiss as Nevidiva is taken away on a stretcher.

An ending without romance

If you do not want a romantic relationship with either Blondie Blazer or Invisible, then follow the steps below.

Blondie Blazer:

  • Don’t kiss her.
  • Don’t invite to dinner.
  • To say that what happened in the episode “The Passage” was a mistake (you were drunk).
  • Say, “I’m sorry, Blazer,” when talking about a breakup.
  • Needless to say, she looks amazing in the dress.

Invisible:

  • Saying that you are just friends, or that going to the movies is not a date .
  • Tell Chase that your relationship is “strictly professional.”
  • Remove her from the team.
  • Decline her kiss (don’t get closer).
  • Don’t cut the ropes in the episode “Unity”.

An ending with two novels at once?

You can simultaneously have a romance with both Nevidiva and Blondie Blazer.

To do this:

  • choose all the romantic options at once (which were listed above),
  • have dinner with Blondie Blazer at the end of episode 5, “Team Spirit,”
  • keep flirting with both girls,
  • In the seventh episode, “Retrospective,” be sure to protect Nevidiva and forgive her during the conversation in the locker room.

At the end, Polog will mention “complicated relationships,” and in the credits, in the statistics, the expression about tangled relationships will be used.

Ending – revenge or mercy

This fork only appears in the good ending of the Mentor’s path, when Robert gains control of the Polog’s fate at the end of the episode “Unity”.

After Nevidiva takes the bullet instead of Robert, you can choose:

  • Kill – Robert strangles Polog to death.
  • Spare – Polog will be taken into custody.

Both choices are labeled “Team I will remember this.” It’s unclear how this will impact future events, as the first season ends here. But if (or rather, when) a sequel is released, it will likely impact the team’s opinion of the example you set for others. For now, choose the option that resonates with you.
