Based on the novella “The Mound” by cosmic horror master H.P. Lovecraft , The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu invites players to form a party of 2-4 people to search for a legendary underground city containing priceless treasures .
The game is set in the 16th century, during the era of great discoveries in the New World. Each expedition begins on an exploration galleon, where participants gather, choose their next mission, and select the weapons and equipment that will give them a chance to survive the coming battle.
Once ashore, players must work together to survive the cursed jungle , find treasure, complete their mission, and return to the galleon alive. The area is home to numerous creatures that threaten the lives of the explorers.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu will be available in Summer 2026 on PlayStation 5 , Xbox Series X, and PC.
